What a carrier! My first impression when I first opened the Love and Carry One Plus baby carrier was that how light and compact it was, even down to the lightweight buckles.
The whole carrier is well made and so amazingly but at the same time isn't overwhelming. The padding is a lovely thickness without being overly bulky, and the shoulder strap padding seems longer than other carriers.
For smaller babies it adjusts down without creating too much bulk around baby and feels very comfortable on. The waistband is easy to adjust to the size you need for baby, and the height cinches down with two straps at the top of the panel. The straps buckle underneath babies legs and bum which create a more snug feel keeping baby nice and close.
The carrier is suitable from newborn to 2 years, so it's a great, soft option to use and grow with baby.
Now, personally with a small baby I prefer cross straps, and the great thing about this carrier is it does both - i.e. both 'H' and 'X' straps. So if you're swapping between parents then you both have the option to choose whichever strap position you prefer.
A small feature I really like is how the side buckles fold in and are held in place without flapping about.
My favourite feature is another small one but makes a bit difference - the buckles have a wide opening that makes it really easy to loosen and adjust; no more broken nails!
This carrier is so simple and comfortable for front, hip and back carries. It's definitely one that will grow with you on your carrying journey.
