The baby seat area narrows across the width and height for younger babies and adjusts with them as they grow. The Explore can also be used in the forward-facing position. Note thought that before beginning to use the Tula Explore Carrier in the facing out position, your baby should have head and neck control and their chin should clear the top of the panel when facing out. We also suggests a weight range for the facing out position of 13-22 lbs for shorter intervals of time for optimal comfort. Watch baby for signs of sleepiness or over-stimulation. Baby should not sleep in the front carry facing out position.

The Tula Explore is a buckle carrier, and of all the different types of baby carriers, buckle carriers are amongst the easiest to use and most popular, and with good reason: they are relatively easy to use and learn, they tend to be gender neutral, they are highly adjustable and they can easily be used by wearers of different builds and sizes.
The fact that buckle carriers are adjustable means that different care givers can use the same carrier - perhaps a petite mum, and a large-build dad, meaning that babywearing can be easily shared and enjoyed by both parents.
