In this in-depth review, we will explore the features, benefits, and practicality of the Physiocarrier, as well as share insights from real-life users, to help you determine if it's the perfect fit for you and your little one.
The Love Radius Physiocarrier is a multi-award-winning baby carrier, designed to allow you to carry your baby whilst at the same time supporting the healthy physical development of infants and young children. It was developed by French company Love Radius and the carrier and company have won numerous awards since it was released in 2015.
The Physiocarrier is designed to be comfortable for both the wearer and the baby. It has adjustable straps that distribute the weight of the baby evenly across the shoulders and hips, reducing strain on the back and neck. The carrier also has a wide, padded waistband for added support and comfort.
One of the key features of the Physiocarrier is its ergonomic design. It has a unique seat that supports the baby's natural hip position and promotes healthy hip development. The seat can be adjusted to accommodate infants as young as four months old and toddlers up to three years old.
The Physiocarrier also has a variety of carrying positions, including front-facing in, hip carry, and back carry. This allows parents to choose the position that is most comfortable for them and their baby.
Overall, the Physiocarrier is a superb, versatile baby carrier that is designed with both parent and baby in mind. Its ergonomic design promotes healthy physical development in infants and young children, while its comfortable and adjustable straps make it easy for parents to use.
We have stocked Love Radius now for nearly 13 years, back when the company was called JPMBB (in fact, we still call them that!). They are a French company who are deeply invested in the babywearing community and promoting safe, comfortable babywearing.

Is the Physiocarrier Suitable All Year Round?
Yes! You can meet baby's physiological needs of skin to skin, thermal regulation and breastfeeding, whilst using the Physiocarrier all year round.
Here's the thing: we normally didn’t reach for a buckle carrier first. There's a simple reason - when we were out and about, there was usually more than one baby that needed to be carried at some point, by both of us. Since we usually found different carriers comfy, we usually just grabbed a wrap and ring sling and we'ree off. Yay!
However we always need to be super-up-to-speed on all of our buckle carriers. Buckle carriers are super-popular in the Boutique & online, and quite rightly so. So it's no surprise that we set aside our go-to carriers to test out the Love Radius Physiocarrier.
The surprise is that we both love it!
Why? It fit both of us and it was a fantastic fit on different babies of different ages.
It's that simple. As parents who carried our babies, that's what we needed in a buckle carrier. That same simplicity followed through to our consultations and demonstrations in the Boutique. This carrier fits lots of different builds of wearer and babies of all ages.
We loved the rollaway back panel - if you run warm, or your little one runs warm, then this is a fantastic option. Just unzip on either side and roll it up and away. baby can be in the carrier when you do this, so need to disturb them.
It’s light, airy and super comfortable.
