What's Special About the BabyBjörn Mini?
Baby Carrier Mini is small, soft and simple to use. It’s designed to meet a very young baby’s great need for closeness.
Is the BabyBjörn Mini Easy to Use?
Yes, the BabyBjörn Mini is simple to put on and take off, making it perfect for frequent, short babywearing sessions. Its clever design means that you can unfasten the entire front section to gently lift out your sleeping baby.
When Can I Start Using the BabyBjörn Mini?
You can use Baby Carrier Mini from the day your baby is born — its softness and small size make it ideal to pack in your hospital bag!
Does the BabyBjörn Mini Come in Different Materials?
Baby Carrier Mini is available in three super-soft materials: 3D jersey, 3D mesh and satin-woven cotton — all developed to enhance the closeness between you and your baby.
Does the BabyBjörn Mini Provide Good Support?
Yes, the soft fabrics gently hug your baby’s back, legs and hips, and provide good support. You can check your newborn’s position and the natural curve of their back through the fabric with your hands. Baby Carrier Mini also offers sturdy and adjustable head support.
Can I carry my child in both the facing-in and facing-out positions in Baby Carrier Mini?
Yes, you can! Please remember that the leg straps should be used to reduce the size of the leg openings for babies between 3.2 and 4.5 kg (7 and 10 lbs). When you carry your baby in the facing-out position, they should be at least five months old and weigh max. 11 kg (24 lbs).
What's Special About The BabyBjörn One?
What if you could enjoy the closeness of babywearing for longer — in a way that’s comfortable for both you and your little one? You can with the ergonomic BabyBjörn One, crafted in a soft cotton blend. The sturdy waist belt and padded shoulder straps relieve pressure on your back and shoulders, and make babywearing possible from newborn and up to the age of three. If you mainly want to babywear in the early months, then the Mini may be perfect for you.
What's the Difference Between the BabyBjörn One and One Air?
These baby carriers share the same features but are made of different materials. Baby Carrier One Air is crafted in an airy 3D mesh and Baby Carrier One is made of a soft cotton blend. Both these materials are soft and flexible, but the cool 3D mesh is a better choice if you easily get hot or live in a warm climate.
Why Should You Choose a Baby Carrier in a Cotton Blend?
Thanks to the supreme softness and flexibility of our cotton blend, you can both see and feel that your baby is being carried in a natural position.
Does the BabyBjörn One Provide Baby With The Correct Support?
Yes, the One has inbuilt support for a newborn, and an adjustable head support that’s easy to adapt to your baby. It’s also classified as ‘hip-healthy’ by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, provided that it’s used according to the instructions. This means that it gives the correct support to your baby’s hips and encourages good hip joint development, which is especially important during the first months of life.
The BabyBjörn One is ideal for adjusting as your baby grows. It has two different height positions that make babywearing possible from newborn and up to the age of three. With just a few simple adjustments, you can vary your carrying position from facing in to facing out on your front and carrying on your back.
What's Special About the BabyBjörn Harmony?
The BabyBjörn Harmony is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a soft-structured and ergonomic baby carrier with a luxurious feel. A pressure-relieving waist belt and padded back support and shoulder straps make Baby Carrier Harmony incredibly comfortable. The super-soft mesh hugs your baby, and provides a constant feeling of closeness between you both. The Harmony is easy to use and lightweight, and can be easily packed in your pram or nappy bag.
Can You Use the Harmony from Newborn?
Yes, the BabyBjörn Harmony can be used for newborns (min. 3.2 kg) and up to the age of approximately 3 years (max. 15 kg).
Is the Harmony Ergonomic for my Baby?
Yes, the Harmony is ergonomically designed to support your baby’s entire body. They sit with their legs wide apart and their bottom in a deep position. And as your baby grows, you can easily adjust the length, leg position, and seat area for optimal comfort.
Why does the Harmony Have Fexible Head Support?
Before your baby can hold their head up unaided, it is important to have good support to help keep the head in an upright position. The Harmony offers head support in three different positions that you can easily adjust using the poppers. Use the position that provides the best head and neck support, and lets you easily supervise your baby.
Is the Harmony Ergonomic For Me>
Yes, the Harmony has been designed to make babywearing as comfortable as possible for you. When babywearing your tiny newborn, position the pressure-relieving waist belt around your waist. As your baby grows, move the belt down to your hips to better distribute the weight. The padded shoulder straps redistribute weight away from your shoulders and back, so you can babywear comfortably – even for longer sessions. The baby carrier also has padded back support for lower back relief.
Why does the Harmony Have Two Height Positions?
This is partly to provide optimal comfort for your growing baby and partly to enable you to babywear as comfortably as possible. There is one height position for newborns and one for older babies. When carrying an older baby, move the belt to your hips, so your baby is at the right height and the weight is distributed better.
Why Should You Choose a Mesh Baby Carrier?
Because the unique 3D Mesh fabric is a high-tech and soft-structured material, it gently hugs your baby, and provides proper support for their back, neck and hips. The Babybjörn Harmony is also the coolest baby carrier in the BabyBjörn range; because the highly breathable mesh offers cool and comfy babywearing, even on warmer days.
How Can I Carry My Baby in the Harmony Carrier?
There are four positions: newborn, facing in, facing out, and on your back. Your newborn needs a lot of closeness. Carrying your baby facing in strengthens the bond between the two of you, while the warmth of your breath and the sound of your heart provide a sense of security for your baby. At around the age of five months, once your baby’s neck muscles have become strong enough to hold up the head unaided, you can begin to carry facing out. As your baby continues to grow, you may find it more comfortable to carry your baby on your back. But as you do not have the same degree of supervision when your baby is on your back, it’s important to wait until they’ve reached the age of one year before using this position.
Is the Harmony Carrier Easy to Use and Adjust?
Yes, we all know how busy you are as a parent, which is why Babybjörn put a lot of time and effort into making products that are easy to use. You can quickly and easily adjust all the settings to suit both you and your growing baby.
Is the Harmony Carrier Hip Friendly for My Baby?
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute has evaluated Baby Carrier Harmony and acknowledges it as “hip friendly” when used in accordance with the instructions. This means that the baby carrier provides the proper support for your baby’s hips.
