Ergobaby Omni 360
The Ergobaby Omni 360 Baby Carrier brings together the newborn-suitable features of the Ergobaby Adapt, and the world-facing features of the Ergobaby 360 into one fantastic carrier.
What Is The Ergobaby Omni 360?
The Ergobaby Omni 360 is the baby carrier that does it all! As Ergobaby put it, the best baby carrier should give you everything you and your baby need – safety, comfort, closeness and freedom.
The Ergobaby Omni 360 is the best carrier for this. It offers every carrying position you need as your baby grows – from newborn to toddler (3.2 – 20 kg). Like all Ergobaby carriers in the range, it is easy to put on and take off, fits almost all body shapes and can be used by both parents. The carrier itself grows with your baby and can be adapted to the developmental stages and needs of your growing child as well as to your needs as busy and active parents.
You don't need an infant insert or anything else when carrying a newborn.
Why Is The Omni 360 So Good For Babywearing?
There are 3 main reasons why the Ergobaby Omni 360 is such a good baby carrier:
- A Variety of Carrying Positions
With these four possible ergonomic carrying positions, you can enjoy being close to your baby, lay the foundation for a healthy and secure bond in these important early developmental phases, and still have your hands free:
- Front Carry – facing parent
- Front Carry – facing out (from approx. 5 months)
- Hip Carry (from approx. 6 months)
- Back Carry (from approx. 6 months)
The crossable shoulder straps and the wide, padded lumbar support ensure a perfect fit and protect your shoulders and back. Your baby's ergonomic M-position is naturally maintained and ensures healthy development of their hips.
The Omni 360 baby carrier has a foldable padded headrest and a stowable hood so the sun and wind won't disturb or wake your sleeping baby, and it is a great privacy screen when breastfeeding in the carrier. A detachable pocket for dummy, keys, telephone and other small items is also included in this comfort baby carrier. As an airy version, our Cool Air Mesh models of the Omni 360 offer good air circulation and therefore pleasant cooling for baby and carrier on hot days or when you are particularly active.
Can The Omni 360 Be Used With Newborns?
Yes, the Ergobaby Omni 360 baby carrier can be used with your newborn in the front carry position facing you, just so long as they meet the minimum weight and height requirements - your newborn baby must weigh 7lbs (3.2 kg) minimum and be at least 20 inches (50.8 cm) tall.
What's the Maximum Weight of Baby That Can Be Carried in the Omni 360?
You can use the Ergobaby Omni 360 baby carrier until your baby weighs 45 lbs / 20 kg. We generally recommend carrying babies over 2 years old on your back, as this is much more comfortable than carrying a baby of this age on your front, especially for longer durations. We recommend that you carry your baby high enough on your back so they have a view of the world over your shoulder. This also allows them to have their arms out if they wish, which some babies find more comfortable.
Does the Omni 360 Need an Infant Insert for Newborns?
No, the Ergobaby Onmi 360 does not need an infant insert for carrying newbonrns. The seat of the carrier gradually adjusts to your growing baby right from newborn all the way to toddler (7-45 lbs / 3.2-20 kg), and ensuring that your baby is supported in an ergonomic M-shape position at all ages.
How Easy is it to Adjust the Omni 360 for My Baby?
It's actually really easy to adjust the width of the seat, and there are colour coded guides on the carrier itself to show you where to put the tabs. Plus, the tabs are attached with velcro, so they're really quick and easy to adjust. You adjust the seat based on your baby's height: use the red lines for a baby between 20-24 inches / 50.8-61 cm (~0-3 months), use the yellow lines for a baby between 24-28 inches / 61-71 cm (~3-9 months), and the blue lines for a baby over 28 inches / 71 cm (~9 months +).

In addition, it comes with a removable accessory pouch pocket which can be worn in various positions on the carrier.
What's the Difference Between the Omni 360 and the Ergobaby Adapt Carrier?
